Multicultural Connect Central Victoria is a membership-based organisation. Our members lead us — shaping what we do, what we say, and who sits on our Board of Management. Membership is free and open to both individuals and cultural organisations.

Individual membership is open to anyone living in Central Victoria who shares our vision and mission.

Our vision: a Central Victoria where everyone can belong, connect, and contribute.

Our mission: working with multicultural communities to build connections, create belonging, participate equally and lead positive change in Central Victoria.

As a member, you strengthen our collective voice and increase community influence over the policies, services and decisions that affect newly arrived migrants and refugees in our region.

  • Stay connected: receive our quarterly newsletter, event updates and invitations to participate

  • Have your voice heard: contribute to our advocacy work and provide input into community consultations and submissions

  • Shape our organisation: vote at general meetings and nominate yourself or others for our Board of Management

Organisational Membership

Organisational membership is for cultural associations based in Central Victoria that work to celebrate culture and support multicultural communities. You are invited to become a member and share in our vision: a Central Victoria where everyone can belong, connect, and contribute.

Organisational members can:

  • Build connections: access networking events, forums and consultations designed specifically for cultural associations

  • Grow your capacity: we will support your organisation with events, grant writing and capacity building

  • Share information: receive our quarterly newsletter, news updates and event invitations, while having the opportunity to share your events and updates with our broader community

  • Have your voice heard: contribute to our advocacy work and provide input into community consultations and submissions

  • Support our governance: vote at general meetings and nominate a representative for our Board of Management

  • Show your support: your membership signals that cultural diversity and inclusion are values you support

We acknowledge that we live and work on the stolen lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung, Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali peoples. We acknowledge Traditional Custodians across the continent and their continuing connection to the land, sea and community. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. This was and always will be Aboriginal land.
